Piles of Latkes.....

Bring Miles of smiles..... Nikolas couldn't wait to eat his latkes tonight!!!
Happy Hanukkah to all my friends that celebrate. Zach is reading the prayers, Ariana lit the candles and then Nikolas lit the electric menorah in the front window.

I LOVE latkes...we try and make them each year. Thanks for peeking at my blog. Your Sis is the Bomb! (I left a note on your daughters blog, thinking it might be yours...whoops...hope she doesn't mind!)

Have a GREAT week!

What book is Z reading?

Zach is reading the prayers from a little Hanukkah book called The Complete Guide to Hanukkah by Susan Fischer Weis.
We like this book because it is small and easy to have around. Has all the prayers in Hebrew, transliteration and English (translation) plus dreidal, latke recipes and a bit of history. It's all spiral bound and laminated, so we don't have to worry about tearing, staining or riping..
More info than you probably ever wanted to know...

Pictures say a thousand words. I could tell it was easy to read and had everything you need in it.

We played 4 way mancala tonight. (This has nothing to do with this post).

Where David learned to play (rudimentary), I don't know. Scott is a mancala champ. I can't think 4way. HE CAN. I told him to imagine reading is mancala. :)
